The Helicopter Aviation Training Symposium (HATS) led bulb will focus 100% on helicopter safety led bulb and training. Professional peer discussions among pilots, operators and users, aircraft manufacturers, training experts, training device developers, regulators and other stakeholders will share the most up-to-date information and best practices from the civil, paramilitary and military training communities.
Held in conjunction with WATS – the world’s led bulb largest annual gathering of civil aviation training professionals (more than 1,000 attendees in 2014) – HATS 2015 will facilitate cross-sharing of lessons learned with fixed-wing training colleagues.
The HATS 2015 conference stream will be embedded in the overall WATS conference, led bulb and will run parallel led bulb to other streams on maintenance training, cabin crew training, regional pilot training, and airline pilot training. Within the WATS event, a day and a half will be fully dedicated to helicopter led bulb training led bulb topics, wrapped within keynote addresses and discussions of challenges common to the entire aviation training community.

WATS is an “applied” conference and while full academic papers are not appropriate, we will consider summaries of relevant helicopter training research projects, particularly if they have international and/or cross-sector application.
