Although dead tired from the five-hour flight, we decided not to waste time, but immediately go to

In one of the previous posts I wrote that I had the dilemma of whether to choose Dubai or Abu Dhabi for this year's holidays. Although the majority of circumstances favored the Dubai, in favor of Abu Dhabi ruled choice of hotels. The criterion was primarily retrofit that the hotel has its own beach, because the years has been very exhausting and I wanted to spare the maximum effort (what we in practice never succeed). Leafing through the deals on offer and reading comments on TripAdvisor traveler, retrofit the best value and quality offered hotel Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana. Rotana is a luxurious hotel chain in several countries of the Middle East and North Africa, and sub-brand Rayhaan them. Otherwise I'm a hotel is not as important and not looking for a luxury, but I was a bit anxious to see what will await me there, because I had not stayed in five-star hotels.
At the airport we were met by the hotel driver, and at the entrance to the hotel to meet us rushed carriers suitcases, which only you and us not enter inside. Already the lobby of the hotel exuded luxury and welcome us wished polite receptionist, I would say the Philippines. She requested vouchers, and then began negotiations rooms. Offered retrofit us some great options, dizzying extra for a room with a view of the sea and in the end we still took 150 euros as a security deposit in case you do some damage. She asked us, and whether we want a smoking or non-smoking, retrofit double or twin bedrooms, and similar details. You told us that the official check in at 14h (and we arrived around 7:30 in the morning), but since it has a vacant retrofit room, they will give it to us immediately. Sea view we had, but we got a room with a balcony, what we meant for drying things, retrofit because there are rooms that do not have a balcony.
She gave us a card that unlocks retrofit the room and activate the power supply and headed retrofit to the elevator. The hotel normally has 21 floors (or 20 because there is no 13th floor, which is connected to a widespread superstition that the number 13 brings bad luck) and four lifts, two of which are glass so you can watch them from the inside of the hotel. It is fascinating to observe the climb to the top of the hotel, because the corridors on all floors designed in the form of balconies from which you can watch free up or down (you will be clearer if you look at the picture).
We entered the room and enchanted at first sight. New furniture and spacious beds promised the comfort room, and how could it not, since the hotel was built in 2010. The bathroom has a bath tub and a spacious glass shower. The room is literally equipped like a habitable apartment because you have and oven, refrigerator, iron with ironing board, closet with light inside, scales, bathrobe, slippers new, towels, hair dryer ...
Soon they brought us and suitcases, a carrier for some time stood and asked if we need anything else, obviously expecting a tip. He found us unprepared, because neither we had the local currency, retrofit or small denominations of the euro, and we did not know what was considered a decent tip here because the standard retrofit is not the same as in Tunisia or Egypt. Since we are fine with his discreet expectation tips, has finally gone. At one point I thought: My God, this luxury operates burdensome. It is better retrofit to have chosen a social variant and was quiet. From the balcony we had a view of part of the city which is under construction, but there were some nice completed buildings. We even had a look at a good part of the Emirates Palace complex. retrofit
Although dead tired from the five-hour flight, we decided not to waste time, but immediately go to the beach. We experienced a temperature shock upon leaving the hotel outside (the difference in temperature has reached at least 20 degrees), so I at first was terribly hard to breathe. To note, towels are available in the room before the exit to the swimming pool, it is enough that they ask the workers and to enroll in the list.
The outdoor pool is nice, roomy enough and consists of three units, which vary in depth. The maximum depth of the pool is 140 cm, and because of the shape is not suitable for those who just love to swim because you can not catch the line. In the afternoon, one part of the pool is in the shade, which is perfect for those who may not or do not like excessive sun exposure. In contrast to the pool, the sea was my disappointment, due to high water temperature, which was 35 degrees in August and was not pleasant for swimming, especially since the beach is in the bay. I wondered how anything could live in it, but it turned out that there is still the occasional fish. Hotel beach is not great, but there is enough retrofit room, although I personally this time the area around the pool was tempting.
Beside the pool is a bar where you can order food and drinks, retrofit but the prices are high, plus you will add more to the bill and the cost of services and some taxes. I was an account that was 52 dirhams at the end came 60 dirhams, which is close to 2 euros more than the amount of the order. What you should know is the fact that in this hotel but stop to alcohol
