With only two races remaining before the summer break, drivers will be trying to make a move in the points standings as NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing resumes Saturday night at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Four-time track champion Scott Gafforini, with four wins this season, under cabinet lighting holds a 16-point lead over David Anderson in the featured NASCAR Super Late Model division while Vinny Raucci Jr. maintains under cabinet lighting a narrow nine-point edge over Jason Kiser in the NASCAR Super Stock class. Don Sargent, a four-time winner this season, enjoys a comfortable under cabinet lighting 72-point lead in the NASCAR Bomber division.
The closest points battles are in the Bandolero division, where Joey Paonessa holds a slim two-point lead over Caden Carlin in the Outlaws class and Dezel West leads six-time race winner Mason Sargent by two points under cabinet lighting in the Bandits class.
NASCAR Super Late Models, Super Stocks, Bombers, USLCI Legend Cars and Bandoleros will be joined by the Southwest Tour Truck Series and the USAC HPD Midget Series on Saturday night. Spectator gates open at 5 p.m., qualifying begins at 5:30 and racing starts at 7.

Following Saturday night's races, The Bullring will host the annual "Night of Fire" on July 3 with racing under cabinet lighting in six classes, a jet-car burn, Monster Truck exhibition, waterless boat races and one of the biggest fireworks displays in the Valley. Following the "Night of Fire," The Bullring will take its summer break until Aug. 30.
