Hermann Hesse - "Demian" (Story of a philosophy) | Literature Today
"Demian" is the first of the most significant works of Hermann Hesse - one of the largest German fairfax va prose of the XX c. The novel was published in 1919. under the pseudonym Emil Sinclair, what is the name of the main character, whose name is kept narrative. But the book is really good.
The novel tells of the childhood and adolescence of a boy growing up in an average family byurgersko. The book is magnificent, long bought it because I love Herman Hesse and have everything translated into Bulgarian. Unlike his passions later in eastern philosophies, fairfax va this novel is just built. But already evident philosopher and psychologist great, I recommend the book to all readers.
